The first villa to be completed in Indigo Bay, this three-story design gracefully meshes a contemporary layout with exterior architectural elements in the Caribbean tradition. Focal point of the villa is the cantilevered pool with four-sided infinity edge. All main interior and exterior areas are designed with sightlines to the central pool and the spectacular panorama beyond. By extending a narrow section of the pool to the middle of the floor plate, the indoor-outdoor connection is reinforced, while elegantly dividing the living and dining areas. Several tiled terraces around the pool may be used for entertaining or sunbathing. Oriented towards the access road, the kitchen, pantry and two-car garage form a programmatic buffer zone.
Two of the villa’s four luxury bedroom suites are situated on the ground level, providing increased flexibility of use to senior residents. Wide doorways and shallow thresholds further support accessibility. Both bedrooms on this floor feature loggias with outside showers overlooking the deep blue sea. Each suite contains a walk-in closet and a comfortable private bathroom. A central flight of stairs leads to the upper floor with the remaining two bedroom suites. The lower level includes a spacious gym/game room, wine cellar, storage rooms, the cistern and technical spaces. Throughout the day, the elevated pool offers shade to a sizable wood deck underneath.
